We at Crisp Foils have been making after-market stabilisers for just about 4 years to suit various brands. The latest is the Flex 130 stab.

Recently we designed some adaptors which allow inter-brand compatibility. The first is a Unifoil model stab with adaptors to work with KT, Code Foils and others using the bottom mount with 30mm M6 screw spacing such as AFS and the Foil Parts after-market fuselages (F-One and Lift etc). Check them out on Instagram (@crisp_og) or Facebook (Crisp Foils).

The response has been really positive so we will take this idea further. We are reaching out to the foil community to get a better understanding of what brands we should develop adaptors for.

So please let us know... what brand stabs and fuselages do you want to adapt between?

If you are Europe based check out KParts Watersports. All their stabs can be top or bottom mounted and fit both 30 and 35mm bolt spacings. They have loads of other parts for your Frankenfoil. I have a few of their parts and they are really well made.
I have no affiliation.

Thanks Piros! If you get a chance to have a ride on it I'd love to hear what you think.

Thanks for the tip. I've had a look at what they are doing and love the wide compatibility. I went down a similar path a while ago but stopped short due to strength/stress-concentration concerns. It may be time to revisit this.

Loving my 130 flex tail works really well.

Any thoughts on making shim packs? Using Code ones at the moment on my AFS gear not the best fit but works.

Can do Hilly. Would you want 0.25 or 0.5 degree increments?

Also, glad to hear you are still enjoying the Flex 130!

I've been running the Crisp 130 tail on all my front wings for the past few months. Great tail. Fits well on Armstrong with no shim. I've used it with every foil in the the HAv2 range and the 1675 APF. For the bigger folks there is now a larger 150 sized tail. Similar feels to the 130 but just reduces the sink rate and gives a little more time for every pump.
