I'm making a DW board 7'10" x 21". (85kgs)
I've looked at so many images of boards and all quite different hull shapes. Im looking for stability as if I can't balance its a non starter. Do people think the flat bottom like the Appletree Skipper is more stable than the KT Ginux dragonfly, but the KT will get on foil quicker due to its displacement hull. Thanks for input.

Assuming you are talking about roll stability - Short answer: It depends
Are you looking for primary or secondary stability?
Flat hull has excellent primary stability, poor secondary
Rounded hull has poor primary stability, excellent secondary
It's all about trade-offs
Want more stability? Add width at the cost of glide

Thanks.
trying to find the best solution for MrAverage paddler. I'm no young athlete influencer ;)
I might just go 23" wide as probably most use will be in small waves on a surf beach.
