I'm seeing this in every pic and video, the front foot during winging seems to be offset at least a bit towards the windward rail (everyone can't be wrong). Can we assume this is somewhat board size dependent, smaller boards one is going to be more centered? What happens then when one lowers the wing for wave riding, downwind or breaking?
For the record, I do not wing, but I moved my front footstrap a bit towards the rail on my SUP foil board. I found that it is a huge advantage for paddling into the wave, and not a problem once flying, if you already know how to foil.
I would not recommend this front foot position for learning though, as uncontrolled movements will be more detrimental. But once you have a good foiling balance, you can move your front foot a bit laterally.
