Hey team..I'm about 7 weeks away from hitting Oahu and just wondering if anyone has any tips on foil set up rentals . Unfortunately can't take my own gear ( or foil drive ) over on Air NZ.

Looking for my cost effective method..happy to hire over multiple days. Any feedback appreciated

Thanks

That weird about Air NZ not taking your gear. I have travelled to Hawaii with 10ft sups with them. Was a while ago though.

Robert Stehlik at Blue Planet Surf would be the obvious choice. They have a shop near Waikiki and one on the North Shore. They are big into all types of foiling and they also design and sell equipment. I know they do a lot of SUP rentals so I would expect they would rent just about any type of foil gear you might want. I have found them great to do business with.

I rented a Sup from them. Delivered and picked up at the hotel

I'm pretty sure they don't rent wing foil gear, but he could likely point you in the right direction.

Koa Board sports is another great place to hire , it's just one street back from the Duke statue . No foil gear but a great range of boards you can take back and change everyday. They are in Koa ave just behind the Hyatt Regency

What exactly are you looking for? Lots of used gear on Oahu, might be cheaper to buy than rent.
