Got the new Jet S25 (2021) foils in and put a bit of a video together unboxing and comparing to the 2020.
How much are the new setups and do they have stainless steel inserts on all of the connections so no tefgel needed.
Is the plate connection a permanent fixture on the mast , does that make the masts more expensive.

Looks like USD, the mast retail $440 - $480 naishusa.com/collections/foil-parts-accessories/products/s25-mast?variant=32666927628370

Price is pretty similar to last year actually which is nice. A complete 1650 setup is $1999 (goes up and down by about $100 per size).
They do have Stainless inserts on all the joints, fuselage and mast etc. so no, you don't need to use Tefgel technically. We'll still be using it for sure though, better safe than sorry! Also I find the Tefgel being so sticky stops anything from vibrating loose over time a bit like using a soft loctite.
Yeah the mast/top plate is a permanent connection. This does make the mast more expensive unfortunately, but I think the stiffness increase will be well worth it. Last year we had a bit of a go at Fanatic because they did the same, but turns out it does actually make a pretty big difference in performance/rigidity.
New masts are $629-679 including top plate.
Big plus on the Naish is that you can still use a 2018/19/20 mast on this new 2021/S25 setup, so if you're learning and want a short one or just want a short one for certain conditions you can pick up a run-out or used one to keep the cost down. I think the new mast will make a big difference to how it rides though, especially when pumping.
Just ordered the S25 HA 1800 setup, I'll post a review vs the (2000 and 1650) 2020's I have.
Looked for the review, but couldn't find it. How did it work out? I'm thinking about buying the HA and I have the 1650.

I had the 1650 before buying the HA1800.. Chalk and cheese difference.. The HA wing lifts just as early as the 1650 but where the 1650 tops out the HA has another two gears.. It feels more slippery through the water and helps make more apparent wind which is great for wing-foiling.

Useful video. Naish talks about 25% mast weigh decrease. Now that you have both of them, could you please share how much the 75cm, 2020 and 2021 mast weigh? Thanks in advance
