Lots of great ideas for using seaweed to capture carbon from the atmosphere. One of the key factors is making sure the seaweed is sunken into deep ocean sediment where the carbon will be stable for millenia. If the seaweed floats up to the coast and decomposes the carbon will be released back into the atmosphere.

How bout they start at the coast and scoop up all the FRICKEN SEAWEED STICKING TO MY BLOODY FOIL and send down into the deep ocean.

Yeah maybe we can save the world with seaweed but leaving it floating around STICKING TO MY FOIL isn't faaaaaarkin helping!!

When you strike seaweed on a DW and the foil rips out of the tracks and sinks to the bottom, as long the foil stays on the bottom, that carbon will be captured and your carbon footprint will be reduced!
