My standard surf Sup was a 8'6" 120Lt Stubby, but when I learnt foiling I got the Naish 7'6" 120lt hover. Once you get the hang of foiling you will appreciate the shorter length. I have surfed it (once) and it's super fun, even if I did struggle with the yaw and balance a bit, compared to having the foil attached.
Hi
How do you find the Naish 120l ability for catching fuller waves?
It's a (relatively) short SUP, you have to paddle it accordingly. But once you get the hang of foiling paddle speed is way less important. At my level, as long as there is a slight peak or breaking section of the wave is catchable, and once foiling you want a fat wave. Wing size and ability to turn is far more important for keeping up on the foil. As my usual foil spot has a big gutter, I have just got a Naish xl wing for smaller days and to pump through fat sections.
I have seen some guys pump and paddle into the wave super early, but I am still working on that.
I only plan to surf the 7'6" hover if I can't foil safely, so punchy shallow beachies or reef waves. If it's a full, small wave it's #loyaltothefoil

.
You will find 8'6" long for foiling, and if you are interested in wind foiling I would look at a cross-over like this Naish model:
