Just curious if anyone takes 2 foils out on a ski with sled for towing.
Only used one so far but imagine the rope would interfere with the foil strapped to the sled, unless you stayed to one side only ?

One on the sled the other on the side foot well with the mast across your lap. When you are towing the one on the sled you put the mast as close as you can to the front of the sled. The rope will push on it a little in whips but no dramas. Best bet is just learn to use one board , you don't need straps so the goofy natural thing isn't an issue .

we sometimes have two. but we are towing into waves so it doesn't matter if the rope stays on one side. Not sure why you couldnt just share one foil setup if ya just cruising on flat water. always a
good challenge to use someone else's gear.

Suppose you could create a really high ski pole

Have you ridden Cloud 9 ? There is only one option my mate has to to learn Armstrong! .Although he does own the ski

We have one across the seat in the footwell and the other being held on the lap, or on the sled if we use it. We drop the anchor, or tie the spare board to a cray pot float, there are plenty where we go.
