Has to be a record for the number of whales this year, every run I do they are popping up in all directions. The pic is yesterday out the Alley right in the waves zone( not me on the wing) and the Vid is yesterday down the Tweed and it was crazy how many were breaching and coming out of no where

I had an up close experience with a HUGE whale and calf up at Exmouth the other day.
They are everywhere up here.
No pics or video it was traveling the same direction, came up right beside me and scared the hell out of me and I crashed.
I paddled out a bit and was going to try to get going but it did a 180 and was coming straight back towards me.
I then paddled back in a bit and managed to get going again, here's my track

Just watched your vid on the big screen..that was pretty bloody amazing. Fantastic.love the sound of the foil as you speed up. I've downwinded on DW boards a little but that looks another level of fun. Great stuff!
