2025 Duotone Glide 2.0

I have been using the 750 Duotone Glide 2.0 demo for the last week - trying to demo as many setups before handing over the $$$$. Instead of buying untested as I have many times in the past.

Found it interesting that there is very little hype about these foils, only a few tech talks by Duotone.

Ride report after 3 prone paddling sessions in very average conditions (0.5-1ft / onshore / mad outgoing current) & it performed surprisingly well & the other 2 sessions in still pretty bad conditions (2ft+ onshore wind/fast outgoing tide in a bumpy river mouth) & it performed very well.

I'm 73kg & 57YO using an Amos Nitro 4'6 & previously on Code 850/980/1130S gear.

Key attributes that I have experienced:
-Great pump/glide & feels fast with little drag.
-Lift on pop up was very controlled, even with the short 60cm fuse it was not very pitch sensitive (measured from front of front wing to trailing edge a tail wing & it was 90mm shorter than Code 980s with Medium fuse / 135R tail).
-Carved as good or better than my old trusty 980 Kujira, (without the crazy front foot pressure) first HA foil I've used that can do this.
-Breeches, no problem you can hear the tips coming out and the wing continues on without any ventilation.
-Quality looks very good, UHM Slim 2.0 mast tapers down to 13.5mm at the bottom, feels super slippery.
- All the covers are well designed & easy to use.

Would love to hear if anyone else is using these foils especially from a prone paddling perspective.

Curious why you are feeling the need to buy a setup outside of code, is it not enough glide?

Hey meoweth ,
Still love the Code gear & they have amazing pump/glide but for prone paddling I couldn't get them to turn the way I like (had 142/150&135R tails). Now looking for a foil that still has good pump/glide but one that I can lay down a nice carve - especially when travelling with some speed.
Have the 900 now to try in D-lab construction.

Interested to hear the feedback from 2025 Duotone Glide 2.0. I like the mast - fuse connection, seems the way the industry is headed.
They've done something weird with the middle mast connection, now need 5 screws instead of four and for a heavier rider 98kgs not sure if the d-lab mast will hold up for bigger foils.

4 screws for the new Dlab (3xT45 & 1xT30) mast/fuse connection.
Possibly a bit over engineered? - super stiff, but is a bit of work changing wings out.

Looks like maybe an imprivement over code/lift style fuses? The only downside I think with code is the fuse is a bit thick, leaving me wondering if longer fuses are causing more drag. I've had a look at the duotone system. I think the mast itself is not as good. First it's not uhm, and second the baseplate adapter made of rubber means the carbon is glued in. Honestly it looks very cheap and of prior generation design whereas the fuse to mast connection looks very next gen

In general I've sworn off these "sit on top" mast/fuse connection systems but with three M8's I would trust it. There is a very abrupt transition where the trailing edge of the front foil meets the 'fuse' which could lead to cracks developing. Otherwise, nice looking kit in general.

Not sure what mast your referring to above?
The new Skinny 2.0 D-lab is all UHM, I weighed the 76cm Duotone & compared it to my Code 80cm Plus mast & the Duotone was surprisingly 50g heavier.

My apologies, I saw a setup in person and it must've been an older mast. The new uhm skinny mast looks great. Overall this new duotone monobloc system looks sick
