Maybe a few others online, but not many.
About 80 miles from Phillip Island to Apollo Bay, and about 100 miles further to Portland.
2 x 24 hour periods in good weather.
What is the boat, what is its condition, and what is the timetable?

It might be worth considering a trailer. I know someone who trailered home a Tophat. For a new to you boat it might be a safer option.
I looked over that boat and took it out and yes the motor runs etc but make sure you give it a proper looking at and service.
Wasn't a bad boat btw and did have an AP but not hooked up. Not a big job.
Happy to chat

+1.
Delivery trips of newly-purchased older boats so often end in tears, and Bass Strait is not a nice place to be caught out.

Cheers, Graeme

Hi Hipopp
PM means Personal Message.
If you click on Madmouse's name it will bring you to a page where you can communicate directly with him.
The top right hand corner has an Email button that will lead you where you need to go.
This allows you to discuss detail in "private".
It is quite easy and convenient for both parties.

A "PM" means a "private message" to one person, not the whole forum. I sent you one too, yesterday. You will be told of the PM via an email or via your profile tab.
I saw Aletta here, still listed for sale:

I have doubts about the power available from a folding propeller, and the low head room. Just my opinion.

Beautiful shape to that yacht, very sleek. A radio with DSC is a bonus, The motor is servicable, spare parts are still available.

The Folkie in question has approx 5 foot 10 head room not 4 foot 10 as per advert. I could almost stand up.
