Well, I was out on the water but not sailing. Painting! Got about one third of the deck cleaned up and painted. Back at it tomorrow.

look you guys. i appreciate we need to maintain our boats but i implore you to use the boat more than you work on them ok!!!
ask yourself - "does that really need to be done"?
if youre boats not a "forever boat" you will lose money and the time you could have been out there!
choose wisely my friends. Be safe etc, but personally the way she looks is the way she looks. means 0. If everything works, thats all you need. :)

can def appreciate the painting though. I LOVE PAINTING. its so satisfying. Because of this attitude , i labour like a mad man to get the sanding, acetone, undercoat done so i can get to the reward - the top coat.

It was a bit of an impromptu Seabreeze Sydney meet up today.

Fantastic to meet you, Steve, and Fishmonkey as well. Great to chat about boats and life. See you again on the harbour. I'll be out tomorrow again with my good woman.

We lost you; put up the sails, looked up and you'd disappeared amidst a sea of sails. Busiest day on the harbour since February, I reckon.

Was that today, Ramona? I think we were gas bagging when the breeze was this good.

I did a overnighter last night had a nice sail home just on head sail...I find I do a lot of jobs as well as sink coldies while on Anchor.
Did not see one single yacht over 24 hours and had winds overnight from all points of the compass!

I'm not such a fan of painting but I like the results. She's going to look really good when done

Saturday afternoon. Seabreeze forecast was for light NE breeze but it was a solid 20 knot SE, I was going fishing but it was a bit fresh for that. Glorious day though, especially in close.

Yep, thats true.........sail or paint etc, but then there are thoes who get enjoyment out of painting etc I guess in the end, what ever floats your boat, for me its Sailing when its all going well, its just heaven.
At present am stuck at Airlie Beach, not a bad place to be hold up, have had plenty of time to read many of the old posts.......the Romance topic was interesting, but it seems to have come to a halt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had big idea to go to the boat but cleaned around the house and did gardening
