Hi could any body post some pics of the pop top mechanism on a Cole 23, previous owner removed it and I would like to rebuild. Some dimensions of the arms would be much appreciated .

My mate had a Cole 23 and from memory it had an X frame on each side with an over-centre spring arrangement on the bottom slides. I suspect that it may be a case of trial and error of putting the top up to a level that gives you head room and calculate the arm lengths from there.

Not my boat. The old bloke in the cockpit is the owner. This is a fixed keel Cole 23. The owner was using a navionics chart that showed that beach as an entrance. Towed off the beach the following day and after a new coat of antifoul is as good as new.
