I was sailing my hawke cat and the "bracket" which the bottom of the sidestay attaches to broke, I suspect the rivets had corroded.
What is the easiest way to fabricate a new one or are there any easier alternatives to get it up and going again.
I've attached some pictures of the other "bracket" for reference
