Hi, I need a place to do some on-water work on my boat, and woolwich dock don't allow this sort of work any more. Are there any places people would recommend?

Try here - new owners after JeremyL retired but they still have DIY options as per their website.

Yes fully realise that. Their feedback comments indicate they don't operate like the Godfather................................

I've had a negative experience with them when inspecting a yacht for a Seabreezer. Just be aware.

Is that Godfather 1, 2, or 3...was there a Godfather 3 ?...if there wasn't just wait a while, Hollywood ran out of original ideas years ago, most of what they serve up is just a re-hash of old, successful story lines with modern actors inserted to attract a younger audience and so keep the dollars rolling in for the clueless executives. Sorry to appear a little negative, but just ask the Victorians who are in lock-down and are searching around on any of the digital platforms. The only exceptions may be the unsurpassables like Gregory Peck's 'To kill a Mocking Bird' or Marlin Brando's 'Streetcar...' Maybe a new thread needed: Recommendations of honoured, old time classic movies to hunt down in lockdown (which haven't been cheapened by a newer version)
OK shoot me for a partial thread hijack...see you at the OK corral...just don't bring a knife to the gunfight!
