Hi Don, it isn't a drill nor reamer it is ratchet,
With my limited computing skills I'm unable to post video, it would explain all.

Is it a new product designed for sailing winches or a re-purposed tool?

Don't waist your money. The 28 volt Milwaukee angle drill is the only way to go. Just make sure you lock tight the chuck or wincher bit on, but don't lock tight the centre locking screw in as it is possible to break that screw and you will need to get it out. I now carry a few spare locking screws. You will only break the screw if you try an winch to hard on high speed, reverse the drill and go to low speed when the going gets tough.

The DeWalt 54v right angle cordless drill is also a good option, and it is available here in OZ.

It would need a dedicated secure storage pocket to stop loosing it overboard

It is far too slow for use on a endless furler line especially on a big boat or does it have a high speed?

Just bought a powerarm from tasmania and had it sent to sint Maarten for the 65ft cat I sail on, I've only used it 2 days but gets my crew to the top of the mast no problems and lifts the 50hp Dinghy no worries on same charge using on electric 70st winches. Highly recommended. I'll be using it on sundreamer for hoisting the heavy main.
