I don't think I'm doing anything differently but when I try to access the Whitworths website it only comes up with an online version of the catalogue. The website was fantastic as it was, I liked being able to search for a particular item and have it on the screen in full detail. If what I'm seeing is the new norm for Whitworths...it sucks! If I want to read the catalogue I can do it with the paper version at home (which I have been known to peruse often).

Please Mr Whitworths...tell me this isn't so!!

Just had a look - you're right
This is just a plain dumb decision! - why fix something that ain't broke?
Try a search and look at the result - dumb.
I'd love to hear Whitworth's rationalisation for this change.

In my opinion it was broke. But now it's even worse.

The search option does work . . (ctrl F or cmd F) so not all bad.

I would assume this is an interim step before a new website is released . . time will tell.

I think it may be. I get this message when i go to the site in the last few days

Still working on the new site I think, they sent me something to that effect a few weeks back but didn't take much notice of it and binned it.

Happened to be in a Whitworths store on Sunday and asked about the website, was told there were security issues with the site and the expert techies were working on it...
Hope they're not charging by the hour!!

Btw, did discover boatwarehouse online...Not bad! Made my first purchase...
