Recent dive to clean my boat from barnacles i noticed that there was a massive build-up of barnacles on my saildrive and bit on my aluminium prop ( this one is replacing my bronze folding prop which is beyond use).
I'm also thinking of replacement 2 blade with 3 blade prop.
The question is, is it really worth the put trilux on the prop considering that it's aluminium and seeing mass build-up of barnacles on saildrive which also have trilux antifouling.
Rest of the boat had not much growth ( international Micron AP ).

Another advice would be appreciated.

They don't make them anymore. Would 15 x11 ( two blades ) or 14 X 9 ( 3 blades ) be suitable ( better?
Current prop is 14 X 7 - 2 blades and it's painful to use - slow as ( it's just quick replacement to keep me going at the moment )

Can't answer the trilux question sorry - sounds like trilux on anything is not working - propspeed could be the go

Be useful to have the yacht type / displacement and sail drive oem, ratio and model to assess properly, also if right hand or left hand prop. Seems like your sail drive might be a Volvo Penta - as you indicate as per here the 15x9 doesn't seem to be available.

Beta do a 15x9 3 blade but the hub probably is different than your (assumed) Volvo which has the rubber bushing. Beta Aust Taren Pt could advise.

We have Micron AP on our boat but have to uses Trilux round are rudder as it has an aluminium rudder shaft. What we found is you need to have a very high build up of the Trilux so as to get the same life as the AP. We try the get 5 coats of Trilux ( 1 coat per day for 5 days) It would probably work on the prop as well as it is a fairly hard antifouling, though you will probably have to go for a dive and give it a clean fairly regularly. I have a diver clean the boats bottom every month, as do a lot of our club members here in Moreton Bay Brisbane. It is now 3 years since we last slipped and the bottom still looks good except the Prop Speed has gone, but the regular cleaning and using the boat at least twice a week keep that in check. The secret to Trilux is to get as many coats on as possible.

When it comes to prop instead of prop speed, I used prop one (half price). The same thing. Give a call to David from Austral. He will ask you how many HP your engine has, what is the gear ratio, waterline of the boat and ballast of the boat. He will calculate the prop size for you. That pleasure will be around 1200 bucks. You can always try to get in touch with WB marine at Wollongong. He is cheaper than Austral or Porter but make sure you get the measurements correct first for your 3 blades prop.Here is the photo of my prop with prop one on it. You will get enough to apply on the shaft too. This photo was taken on 28/11/2022. My antifouling paint was international Micro extra 2 (something like that) still till today not a bit of slime around. I am impressed. Boat is not moving at all and is going on market in couple of days. I got a bigger boat. I hope this helps.

Hunter 356. Replacing 2 blades 16x11 for a 15x13 3 blades. Otherwise the boat is in perfect condition. Sails are old but will change them slowly.
