I've worked with my father in law who's a carpenter and built large parts of my house from timber so I can appreciate the love of it.
It's good to have a down to earth outlook and we need more people like this guy. It's a dream of mine to do as he has and work a forest. A very rewarding lifestyle I would imagine creating and maintaining a portion of the earth.
Don't know how he did it first I was about to make exactly the same video, story line, music, everything, about my fleet of hand crafted boats. Not sure I'll bother now, this photo will have to do.

Lovely video, looks like it was filmed in and around Carrick Roads, Falmouth in Cornwall. I was lucky enough to live in Mylor Bridge which is a village on the water there for nearly three years 02 -05. (I recall complaining that the clattering of the rigging of the boats near our place was waking me up too early !) If you ever get the chance it is well worth a visit. They have pretty serious boating festivals with everything from Cornish gig rowing to Wooden ("ahem" timber...) boats. Mylor Yacht harbour is lovely for some yacht sightseeing as well (they have a website with a few controllable webcams). Enough waffling from me, back to work ! Thanks again for positing the video Shifu
