Yes I agree I had to post after watching what happened to them when they headed out to sea

Interesting rig on the cat near the start of the video.
sounds like a good idea to have the top of the mast bending off in strong winds, especially on a cat.

Similar to the swing rig I have on my Marblehead, the only difference being the jib on the Marblehead doesn't have a self tacking track.

their whole problem was the boat lacked a big stick and two floppy white things , rookie error !!!!! prepare better by obtaining a yacht ! that's 30 min i,m not getting back !

Yes, an RC Yacht sometimes called a 50/800 as it is 50 inches long and has 800 square inches of sail area. When sailed in a club environment the racing gets even more heated than real racing as every race is being fought for sheep stations.

I thought it was a reasonable example of the multiple failures issue and that you need to eliminate as many sources of failure as you can because new issues will always arise. Basically the boat needed better prparation.

Note you can speed youtube up x1.5 or 2 if you are really bored.
