The Spirit of Tas has taken a bit of an unusual detour on it's way from the Station Pier tonight

Yes, turned around and headed back.

Pretty rare to cancel a crossing.
But Tas observations tell the story.
Still no storm warning just a gale warning.

Turns out to have been a Covid issue. A contractor tested positive and 10 crew are close contacts and are in quarantine in Devonport:
