Planning on doing a few trips from the southern end of Moreton bay heading north from Jacobs Well. Just curious as to the direction of tidal flows along the main channel. Also is there a point where the direction of flow changes, that is the out going tide drains north and south from a point along the main channel?

My boat is a 26ft cruising yacht. Trying to plan for fair winds and following seas.

Went through there earlier this year but I'm ashamed to say I can't remember. Logically the port and starboard channel markers should also swap sides at this point.

I sail out of Steiglitz every week or so in my Sonata. I reckon the tide changes in the main channel and Broadwater around at the red marks .
