The radio is not working
I have recently fitted the cover below.
I was very careful removing the cover but it is possible I bumped a wire.
I plan to check the wires are connected and then to check the power going into the radio.
Any ideas?

If the wiring is OK, take it out and fit one of these. www.gme.net.au/au/entertainment/gr300btwep/

Car type stereos draw a lot of amps, a boom box Bluetoothed to your phone / tablet let's you steam radio, play your favourite tunes etc & use less amps

My most handy tool for mucking around with electronics is a portable battery. I used to lug around a bike battery but lithium options got too cool to ignore.
this one's a bit of an overkill (up to 48vdc output) but it comes with a leather belt strap, weighs 600 grams and is 7500mAH, or 95Wh@12v. (12v out is on the other end )There's a bazillion options out there at all sorts of prices.
Handy when diagnosing in situ kit, you always have a known pos/neg source. Helps a lot in narrowing down the issue and quickly.

Good idea Shaggy - I think the lithium powerpack is a game changer. I have 2 outboards so don't need a dedicated starting battery (as the outboards don't take much current to start them). But carrying a lithium charger means I don't have to worry about isolating a starting battery in case I somehow (and it hasn't happened ever in 22 years) can't start the motors because the house batteries are flat. So I can carry a lithium pack and just have house batteries and not worry about special isolation switches etc.

Hi Sam,
No more mould in my boat because of the hanging chalk sticks dipped in oil of cloves.
Seems like six to eight weeks since I tried it.
