I'm thinking of moving my boat in approximately a year from the SNSW coast up to the Sydney area, likely around Pittwater. The intention is have the boat based there for a couple of years flying/driving into Sydney for a block of 10-14 days every month

In previous visits I've berthed at CYC, Birkenhead and in Pittwater at RMYC a couple of times.

To join the waitlist for a berth I have to stump up two months in advance and only get 50% back if I change my mind.

Is there a club or marina that clearly stands out for value for money and/or inclusion (doesn't take itself too seriously for a FNQLDer) and why? Feel free to email me if you don't want to write it here.

I was a RMYC member. Less yachts obviously than the RPAYC but far more relaxed and welcoming in my view. I could offer some more comments on RPAYC but best not in a public forum.

What length overall, beam and draft is your yacht? So as to confirm required berth dimensions.
As per MB numerous clubs are still run on a feudal system basis and I expect always will.
Assume you have searched on line eg
allboatbrokerage.com/allboat/moorings-for-sale/used/berthing/marina-berths-for-lease/177000
www.boatsonline.com.au/boats-for-sale/marina-berths/nsw/
www.pacificboating.com.au/pittwater-marina/
www.holmeportmarinas.com.au/
I have never berthed at any of the above and don't have any connection to any.

Lovely yacht. I was looking at them when I bought Morning Bird.

We love the Arends 33. It doesn't easily get into the groove going upwind like our last boat, an Elliott (doesn't slam like an Elliott which is nice), but besides that it a great all rounder and a solid seaboat.
