I must say there is such a range of great boats in this thread. What really stands out is the care of everyone's boats.
So I am half owner of an SS 30 defiance.
(oh and shaggy, fusion is true yacht goals)

GREAT YACHT !!!
Cisco,
Yes I remember that we like the same designers, I think you also owned a S&S34 & maybe even a Windrush Wildire (just like us).
Ambience,
Never got to sail the S&S but had some real good fun on the Wildfire. I am like you, I refuse to buy a dud design yacht.
By Jingo, Ambience is really carving through the water in that photo!!! The wake suggests she might even be planing???
That furler on your boom looks good. I don't see any wrinkles in the roll.
No, sorry. Sitting headroom only, floorboards raised up to make a good sized double berth, little cooker etc. We camped on board for a couple of weeks after we sold a house.
I have been reading the information on this forum for quite a while but this is my 1st post!
Our Northshore 33
We built this, launched 2003.
Look at that shiny (young) face
looks great what design
Beautiful. I would be very happy owning a boat like that, which I do, except it is 3 foot shorter.
Size isn't everything Cisco

Cheers, I used the panorama mode on the phone. Just started it pointing at my feet then worked up the mast.

Boty its a Golant Gaffer, 6m design by Roger Dongray of England (7.5m over the spars).
nice i have always toyed with the idea of building something similar for sailing esturaies
2006 Delphia 40. Owned by a syndicate of 4. Great for a few days away up and down the WA coast and raced for fun.
Interesting to see a single jib on a 40 ft boat. Nice one!
Ambience - F97 - FSC - Lotus 10.6 designed by Alan Wright - Launched Auckland 1985
My Swarbrick S80 seems to have similar lines and was also launched in 1985?
Martzcraft 35 Trek. I believe original design was Roberts 35. Built for survey in late 80's by previous owner Malcolm (dont know last name) of Wollongong. I keep his hat in chart table for good luck. Since these photos mast has been sand blasted back to aluminum which is much better than the cracked old paint, all rigging replaced and safety rails replaced. We quite easily get 6 knots and have briefly seen 8 - 9 surfing down a steep swell. Accidentally broached once surfing and could see fish through the windows but she came up. Love the stability and strength of the design.
