I I would like to post some photos of a Corrosion monitoring kit and booster anode that I have developed specifically for Saildrive leg monitoring but applicable to shaft drives and hull monitoring. Problem is that the photos are upside down or sideways as is the case here. How does one rotate the image?This post is intended for another forum

A free graphics program called Irfanview, www.irfanview.com/ will solve your problems. Open the photo in Irfanview rotate left or right using either the L or R key, then save the photo ( ctrl+s ) and then upload as usual. All should now be good.

I just open them in Windows photo viewer, hit the arrow button down the bottom to rotate and close the window. Automatically saves it in whatever orientation you need it. Reopen it and voila!

Thanks seems need to turn photos upside down at source. That's all good then.

The system comprises an Ag/AgCl {silver chloride) reference electrode, Volt and Amp readout and provision to boost the installed anode with a suspended aluminium anode.
Top photo is the installation in my boat which has a Yanmar SD40 saildrive leg c/w aluminium splitring anode also bonded to an aluminium rudder bearing housing. Shown is the saildrive leg potential at -1.07 volts v silver chloride reference and a current of 3.78mAmps flowing from the booster anode which is below the resolution of the inbuilt ammeter but can be measured using a digital voltmeter if req'd.
I am presently running a series of tests on a saildrive leg without anode and with a very poor coating and seperately on a bronze propeller.
Also included with the kits will be a technical explanation of Cathodic Protection and an interpretation of the readings obtained.

Not that I care about anyone advertising there products here who knows who could benefit from them. It's more something the site owner would be concerned about it's him losing revenue .
But why don't you have a a dig at others who regularly push their product on here?
Or is this just another example of how frant was bullied out of here previously?
Or this was just a a bit of humour ?

The strange thing is that when I opened the photos in iPad photo viewer and saved the rotated images these didn't unrotate when posting. I then went back and unrotated the original images and they posted in the correct orientation. Very confusing isn't it.
