Yes we have done that plus sails to and walks around Metung, Lakes Entrance and Locksport. (The latter name sounding funny to me after having visited Lockport on the Erie Canal in NY).
My host has been fantastic particularly as I only met him last May when he showed me my boat in VIC on the behalf of the widow who sold it to me.
Mind you I did find him a temporary mooring on Pittwater and take him and his partner for a couple of sails on my NS38 earlier later last year as well as meeting up with him when we both trailed our boats to QLD thereafter although he only went to Tin Can Bay whilst we continued to Airlie Beach.
Nice that sailing begets friends like that and particularly it seems the TS community.
