I recently discovered microfiber 100mm rollers. The ones I used were from Aldi and they were exceptional on clear and oil based gloss paint.
They are a bit more expensive.

I haven't checked the Aldi rollers, the unipro ones give mostly good results with single pak, but two pak pulls em apart sometimes. Will look for the Aldi jobs

Oh I don't really have any advice for stripping paint. My boat was gelcoat. I'm sure if you do a post on here with pictures you will get lots of good advice.
I would be avoiding stripping it if possible depending on how bad it is.

my current boat is painted with two part. There are some sections with bad paint where I will scrape some aware to remove where the paint has failed or is failing. Then I'll sand and then I'll undercoat and overcoat.
on the inside of my current boat the paint is flaking off. I have been using a scraper and wire brush but I will also be using a wire drill wheel to get it off but it will be a big job.

I've spent the last few days stripping paint off Laminex/Formica panels in the galley area. This boat was built in the mid seventies when walnut Laminex was everywhere. The galley area and heads have this Laminex and the previous owners have overpainted it in white two pot urethane. Most of it has fallen off in the heads area but the cupboard fronts have proved testing. I used the traditional stinging paint stripper and in places I had to use 3 applications. The majority of it has came up well after a rub down with soapy water and a Scotch pad. Some areas have a thin residue which I guess will come off with acetone, turps has no effect. The Laminex seems uneffected by all the chemicals and with a bit of high tech car polish comes up well. The doors and knife drawer are varnished timber and look better with the walnut than the poor white paint job did. Once the teak trim is redone in clear it will look smart.
