Don,
Ease the !@#$%^&* traveler !!
Hi Saintpeter
The boat doesn't have one
The main sheet block is attached to a dyneema bridle that goes from side to side on the cabin top
When heeled like this it steers well where the old boat (Jenneau 33i Performance) you would have been on the traveller and main to stop it rounding up in the gusts
Also the windward rudder is out of the water and the leeward one is probably not to far off vertical
I just noticed the spinnaker sheet is dragging in the water as well (A bit messy)
Regards Don

Mind you looking at your boat and the others the same I think they all need more vang purchase which is double sided to each side of the boat.
There is no point having a square top if you can't keep the leech straight by keeping the boom down, and there is no point having vang sheeting if you can't easily access the vang and pull some tension on it by hand.
From memory it's like 8:1 to a winch?? In my opinion it should be at least 16:1 or even 32:1.
Think the Elan S4 is 16:1 and that boat has a traveller.
On my brothers Shaw 650 it is 16:1 And it's all my strength to get enough tension to get the top of the main working
