Hello Tigers,
I am trying to get the beast back. It think it would be a good idea to put a new pair of engine mounts during the process.
Where can I buy them? Any suggestions is welcome. In addition, to put this engine back it was a mission. without a car jack it would be a mission impossible.. the beast is heavy as hell.

Thanks.

From the Yanmar mechanic at Artarmon who refurbished your engine. Expect he will be able to sell you the new Yanmar product or at the least the correct durometer after market mounts to match the stiffness of the originals and the geometry of the originals.

Polyflex do a good mount but you need to advise them of all details of what you have as regards engine type and mass, mount geometry and stiffness.

Just a word of warning - those mounts look like they are fairly low-profile and similar to thew ones I replaced some years ago. I got my sums wrong when I chose the replacements, and it was a real bugger to get the engine to sit low enough. I have to use shims on the rear pair as a result.
So make sure you are certain the height of the new ones match those old ones.
Cheers, Graeme
