Not so sure the Sika is the right product for that application HG.
As it looks more of a V-joint the polyurethane will probably fail.
If you are able to rout a 4-6mm square groove, this will give you clean sides for the adhesive to then stick. At the base of that groove apply a narrow tape, which acts as a bond breaker. A primer is normally required as well given the Teak is a greasy timber. Be careful buying specialist adhesives off the shelf from Bunnings as they do not turnover much of that stuff. It will probably be out of date. Lastly make sure you mask both edges as that black **** is going to end up everywhere and when you caulk squeeze into the bottom of the joint and fill towards the top(otherwise you'll get cavities).

If you don't want to go to that extent, why not fill it with epoxy Botecote or West with a coloured filler.

If it was me I would fill it with timber putty from bunnings they have a large selection of diferent Timber colours.

i would Finish it with feast watson outdoor furniture oil (also at bunnings).

Brush the oil on and lightly wipe with a clean rag. Apply 2 - 3 coats per year or when required.

Half the price and half the time With this method.

Ive got the feast watsons marine vanish had my little heart set on that south ace Ive got some bunnings timber putty on board

Hi all

I am just wondering if the outdoor furniture oil might be suitable for the timber rails on my cabin top

I am not sure what timber they are but they don't appear to have been varnished at any stage

What if, first coat, apply a fine coat of that varnish into the groove as well.. Then fill the groove with what you have then reprep and coat again until desired.

I wash and sanded the timber and used Watson wood cleaner so far I did use the timber putty on a couple of places on this last week seem to be OK
