I have an axiom with navionics. I have used C-map charts on the iPad via the app as well at the navionics app. I prefer the look of the c-map charts and the information they display (like light characteristics). But the community edits on navionics are great, like people's feedback about anchorages, and these carry accross to the charplotter with your free one year subscription with the SD card when you buy it.
I got steered towards the navionics charts, probably because the retailer isn't a B&G dealer. The C-Map looked nice, I had a good look at the B&G screens as well at the show. Hard to split the difference, I like that you could add a forward facing sonar with the B&G Zues that you can't with the Axiom. I ended sticking with Raymarine because it works with all the equipment in the boat already so I don't have to upgrade the entire system at once. The only functionality I wont have is using the Chartplotter to control the auto pilot, I think that is probably a good thing. I don't want the chart plotter having a brain fart or a guest on board deciding to push buttons and gybe the boat by surprise.
