Maxi metho stove

Hi thanks in advance. I have a maxi metho stove which i love. it has developed slow slow drip at 1 burner only when turned off. I know these are not manufacured anymore. but wondered if anybody as a solution to this problem. Thanks

Unwind the needle
The end will be worn
if you a lucky a few places will have new ones or you may be able to repair
i have spares but sorry not for sale

As above , you could machine a new needle or maybe clean it up with a drill and Emery cloth . Whitworths no longer stock parts . You might be lucky on a ring around. I got the last one from Taren point. They are no longer on the system however if they have one they will sell it.

Hi Robker,
Think I have one the same as yours but I haven't used the grill part of it so far.
Is that easy to use and light?
Keen to do bacon eggs on toast next time I stay over on the boat.

To be honest just purchased this model so haven't used grill yet looking forward to it though I've owned another 2 burner maxi for a while still working great will keep as a spare

actually does anybody have a picture of grill drip tray. I think mine is rusted through only about 3 inches long. was thinking i could make a new one. picture attached a bit hard to see though. im thinking it should run the entire length of burners. thank again
