Hi all

Just wondering if anyone might have or know where I can buy some of these nylon screw on sail shackles that attach my main sail to the mast slides on my Sailmaster

I have tried the local shops and managed to get 1 out of a old box of bits but I can't buy the exact same thing new and one of the shops said they used to stock them but have not seen them for a while

Ideally I would like 12 of them so I can replace them all

Any help would be appreciated

Regards Don

Hi RiffRaff

I bought some of those today but they are slightly smaller and I am not sure they will do the job

Looking on the Ronstan website they appear to be PNP65 but the shops I went to today seemed to think the were not available any more www.ronstan.com.au/marine5/product.asp?ProdNo=PNP65

The only thing that worries me is in this listing it is described as snap on not screw on www.ronstan.com.au/marine5/range.asp?RnID=098 so either the photo or the description is wrong

Have you tried Peter Johnston's in Hobart, if they don't have it in the chandlery, check with the sail loft. DP sells them.

Hi Brett

Went into PJ's this morning and they only had the 63's instock so I bought some of them to see if they would do the job

I actually didn't go upstairs to see if the loft was open but I am pretty sure they are closed on Saturdays as I have looked up there before on a Saturday morning

What is DP ?

Regards Don
