Nice, very shapely contoured hull. But yikes - can it go upwind?
Quite possibly, but has anyone seen a boat like that going upwind in rough water at all? Just want to know for my education.

Has a bit of the L. Francis Herreshoff look about it. At first glance I thought it was 'Enchantress' which is a Herreshoff 45, see below.

Correct, it is a Gardner design ... 1976 Formosa 51 pilot house
