I'm in the market for a new battery bank and you certainly have me thinking. Thanks for that!!!!!

I always thought that a lithium bank was out of my reach but now??????????????

I currently have 780Ah of AGMs (useable = about 400Ah) but 280Ah of lithium might just do. I could always get another 4 batteries and have a massive 560Ah - a lot of boat $$ though!! I only got 5 years out of my AGMs but they were only cheapies.

USD$800 ex China for 4 LF280Ks (LF280: 3500cycles compared to the LF280K: 6000cycles) but still waiting on other quotes.

This is cheaper than replacing with AGMs but I have to get a Battery Monitoring System & HEAPS more research!!
