Facebook is in the habit of throwing up memories and apparently it's 8 years ago that I took this picture whilst on a walk with my wife out along Long Reef at a very low tide.
I hadn't had a keelboat for a long time at that point and wasn't planning on buying another so didn't really examine the keel properly to see whether the fiberglass was still on the top of it and the nuts still on or not and I can't really tell from the picture.

Looks like it's from a fairly small yacht. Might have been worth a few bucks if it was lead.

I think I mentioned this find once before on here but I couldn't locate my picture and someone did recall an incident.

Wondering if anyone knows the circumstances of the loss?
