Can anyone recommend an inboard diesel engine mechanic. Our boat is moored in Woodford Bay and it has a Nanni engine. I have been calling the mechanic we have previously used but he is not returning my calls to organise a date and time to service the engine, If anyone can recommend someone that is reliable, it will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately I can only pinpoint which one not to call..there is an honest mechanic who made his own Diesel engines out of Kubota blocks Called John his engines are call WM diesels. If you give him a call he will connect you with honest people to help you. His phone number +61 408 642 590. I had a lot of issues with my old YSE8 Yanmar and went trough few mechanics which were nothing else than bull**** artist. Be careful many dangerous so called mechanics around. John was straight forward and honest man. If you need to change the oil and filters do it yourself. Send me an email if you need directions.
