I have sailed a few, used them to teach young people, and I think they are great. Been made for 40+ years so there's a pretty wide range of implementation. I have converted two Mark Is to Mark II rigging which makes them a bit better to sail. If you are just wanting to go out for the day there's no reason to spend lots of money but the serious competitors at places like Shelley Sailing Club have some fantastic rigs and high-performance sails.

Windrush have a factory in O'Connor if you need parts. The current owner is a bit of a weapon on the water and really knows what he is doing.

Hi Mick many moons ago l sailed my 14 foot Windrush across to Rotto. Not recommend ed.
What is your sailing experience?
Is the boat on a (good) trailer or roof rack?
Basically l suggest practicing rigging at home 3 or 3 times before you take her down to the Swan on a day with a slight breeze.
Then away ya go.

Join one of the local sailing clubs that sail catamarans. Does not have to have Windrushes but most likely will. There will be plenty of people willing to give advice and show you the easy way to rig. Also the correct way to right the vessel after a capsize and the tricks in making a smooth tack.
