A mate came out from Oz last summer and we sailed for a few days.
He is a professional photographer.
I posted Day 1 on here a few months ago.
He has just sent me the full 5 days, so I will post Day 1 (again) and the rest as one video.
I have to say it was great sailing/hiking and all are welcome if you are up this way.

It always amazes how well Japan build harbours, sea walls and shelters for all users of the sea. They really make it safe for any vessel to seek shelter and enter harbours in rough weather. I wish our governments would realise the vast potential of our coastline if they invested in it rather than constantly wanting to privatise access.

Very nice video. I see you have a solar ventilator.I had one of those and it drove me mad when the sun came up early in the summer in Wester Australia.

Yes, very nice video!
Solar ventilator should be great, if you just get up when the sun does. Or make a simple blackout cover to cover it at nighttime?

Thanks Gary, I really enjoyed seeing the greenery as well as your trip. Interesting to see all the aquaculture too. Everytime I visit Japan it's winter time so it's nice to see the contrast. I'm currently up in Hokkaido. With snow to sea level, the experience is very monochromatic.
