Now at Aldi.
Haven't seen them at my coles or woolies so was surprised they were at the local Aldi store.

So did you try one? I just love sirgallivant first attempt classic with the mash and can peas . Tomato sauce is also good as well as gravey!

No didn't buy one , not a big red meat eater , was just curious to see what it was all about after reading about them here.

Fray Bentos pies are available this week at Aldi. They don't need refrigerating.

Here's one for the vegos.

Nutmeat!

Tastes OK out of the can in a pinch - especially with a bit of chutney. Ditto in sandwiches.

However, the picture shows the Russell Island Burger ('cos that's where we're anchored)

Fry in slices with some onions, when you flip it, top with cheese, which will then melt nicely.

Serve in a bun/bread with canned beetroot, tomato, cucumber, sprouted beans and the fried onions. Top with your favourite sauce.

I'm now SERIOUSLY in the wife's good books for serving this up.

It ain't prime steak, but it keeps in the bilges forever. Available at Coles in the health food.

Cheers

Bristle
