Hey all Currently thinking about buying a flex o fold 3 blade to replace my current fixed 3 blade
I wondering if any one has done the same and how the pitch and diameter compared with a fixed 3 blade
My current fixed prop is a 3 blade 20" with 14.1 "pitch Which seems to have alot of slip or cavitation when motoring in to wind or current and alot of drag when locked sailing, pitch seems good in calm water
flex o fold says optimal prop is 22" with 12 " pitch
Or I could stick with a 20" x 14" pitch

My old gori 3 blade was a 20" 15" pitch which was under pitch and had even more slip or cavitation than the fixed

Generally they will spec it off engine hp/ gearbox / rpm limit / prop tip clearance / shaft size etc etc. and boat y
