No but I lived in Coffin Bay for a year and would swap KGW fillets for steak or even mutton

I have a freezer full of steak and meat. Week one lived on fresh fish can't complain next 2 weeks I will combine steaks with a bit of fresh caught seafood.

I'll see your King Goerge Whiting and raise you Eurimbulah Creek Whiting, dusted with flour, very lightly cooked in butter and eaten almost raw.

Really in the muddy waters of qld with all the run off you would endevor on eating partly raw fish? For me it's a case of crystal clear cold water seafood fishing.

Those muddy waters of Queensland yield us mud crabs, mangrove Jack and flat head but none of them bite like you do.

Lobster and calamari in my part of the world (and lots more).

BTW, blanche squid for 30s in seawater then throw them straight on the barbie with a bit of olive oil. Easy and tasty.

PS +1 for cold-water fishing.
