This YouTube channel is very informative on each step of his journey to circumnavigate the world in a Contessa 26 . An older family man whose wife suggested he needed a project, she was thinking a kayak , he had a budget of $10,000 US That included the boat , a real down to earth gentleman I would suggest his channel is worth going through and watching as he progresses on his journey.

I think one interesting point about Wave Rover's fitout is what he has eliminated.
The less you you have the cheaper it is, of course.
Also the less you have the less to go wrong.
He has eliminated instead of adding.
for example, no traveler, just a simple one point mainsheet attachment.
I like that concept

In one of his videos though he did say that was one thing he would change. He wasn't happy with his main sheet system. Think he said he would do one of the other systems (no traveler still)

Yeh it's great. So simple. I love his manual bilge pump beside the stairs and his hatch. And the lack of a toe rail. And his binoculars holder. And the hank on reefing sails.
but I do love a Diesel engine...

The doghouse is surely influenced by Ming Ming.
