Bundaberg Sailing Club members Mathew Caldwell and Bruce Potter (5.8), Jarrod Potter (16sq), Brian Bedford (16sq) and Trent Potter (350) returned to Bundaberg happy sailors after their successes at the Australian Nacra titles. Mathew and Bruce returned with their 4th Aust. title while Jarrod took the 16sq title and Trent secured the No.1 spot in the 350 class. Brian Bedford finished third in the very closely contested 16sq division. Another BSC crew in the 5.8 division, Brad Kroning and Josh Peterson (sail No. 1671) are awaiting the result of a protest hearing which could elevate them to 3rd place in 5.8's. Further afield (on Sydney Harbour) and taking part in the hotly contested Aust. Sports Boat titles was BSC Commodore John Learmonth and his crew on "V Force" a Viper 640.
