If anyone knows the owner call him. I cant think of a way to post this without it being an advertisement for my Trek Transponder! Why does everyone wait until AFTER a boat disaster or close one before getting one. This owner would already have his money back. Last year we had an enquiry for one from a guy in Victoria. In the end he decided not to buy one because he could see his boat from his home. Then one morning he woke and it was on the bottom. Good grief! Prevention has gotta be better than insurance.

Especially hose clamps and mooring lines. The problem is if you asked around not many actually check them. People get busy and forget about it.

And the unpredictables like people getting on your boat, Recently one trashed with fire extinguisher foam and many robbed. A few had a problem with people getting on there boat and letting go the mooring lines casting the boats adrift. Some just vandalism a couple were deliberate.

And the storms blowing boats free of there moorings. Dozens last week. Its true in that situation you might not get to your boat in time to save it crashing into something but at least you will know it has, and know where it is with remote monitoring on board. One of our users (now not then!!) had his boat break off his mooring and run aground in Balmain. It was there for days getting robbed by passers by and he didnt even know.
