I am hauling out in a couple of weeks & I am looking at different antifoul.

I have used Altex 5 since I can remember & have always been happy with it - usually getting 2 + years

Just looking at Micron One is $200 cheaper for 10lts & was wondering if anyone has used this & has any feedback?

Same as you but there was a recommendation on here a couple of years ago for Altex 5
Plus.
First application was much better considering I don't boat often and now into 9 months for the second time and happy ??

I'm putting Altex #5 Plus on next weekend. It will be interesting to see the difference if any.

I have Altex 5 plus sitting there ready to go. I wanted to use Altex Pettit Vivid but could not get it in a 10 litre tin. Altex have taken over the Pettit brand now.

May have mentioned it on here before but don't choose white. I was looking for a change of colour so that I knew when I was down to the previous coat next time and also when I got full coverage but just in the nick of time Altex rep told me that white has half the amount of copper in it and therefore won't work nearly as well. This was regular Altex number 5

Vivid (Pettit) make sure you put primer first.

No other paint can compete. Titanium dioxide and zeolite are the future but it will take couple years to get there..
