30 years ago I got a ride on a 16 ft skiff for a few seasons , then went into yachts for a while ( always up the front ) I dreamed of owning my own yacht one day and living on her . 30 years later and today I packed up what I have left of my stuff to move onboard and see what happens . She still needs a lot of work to make her comfy , but a bit each day and it will eventually come together . I've moved 23 times so far , maybe this time will be home .

Manitou 32, come as either sloop or ketch, good, relatively cheap, fun boat.

Probably the best angle to take a photo of a Manitou 32
as long as they all float and sail

Yes she is a manitou 32 , definitely won't break speed records but quite happy at 6 knots . Finally on board and doing some cleaning , her home is port stephens . To keep the top sides clean there it's a bucket or two of water and a quick broom over , here in sydney after 2 months there was a lovely layer of grey dirt all over , the broom did nothing , out with the sponge and a good scrub all done , my feet now stay clean . That's more work than mowing the lawn lol.
Now onto fixing the steering , will probably convert to tiller for more room in cockpit ( casing under pedastal broken after my mate broached her in 30 knots and used the pedastal to ease his fall landing gracefully and unhurt on the seat ) reminded me off the old 16 ft skiff days when we would go down on a spinnaker run . Ouch . Come to think of it he owned that boat , maybe it was payback.
