You have 3 mentions of Altex 5 plus and one mention of Altex 5 (which is 4L can). I assume you have applied Altex 5 plus and got the 10L can. How many coats did you get on trust at least 2? See here prior post after I slipped 11-15 March 2-24 with Altex 5. A mate in the bay was slipping at the similar time and he was strongly advised to use Carboline 3000. I assume he got at least 2 coats from the 10L.
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Sailing/General/Carboline-3000-antifouling-coating-just-used-in-Sydney-Harbour-slipping-36ft-cruiser-racer-yacht?page=1In the above link it is noted that Altex advise that No5 is 20yr old technology while C3000 and No5 plus (they say these 2 are the same) is way more up to date. Seems like guys responding in the above link have had good service from No5 plus. C3000 is cheaper than No5 plus.
Of interest maybe is my recent experience with Altex 5 after slipping 11-15 March 2024. The below photos 18/6/24. To be fair I only got 1 coat on as "hoped" to get 2 with just 4L - but the area of full keel and rudder of the 25ft clunker was too much and I stuffed up there. 1 coat is a waste of time but I thought it would last more than 3 months. I am not into Propspeed. Yacht has not left mooring yet as trying to get upgraded diesel installation finished off - wet weather a complete PITA - gear morse cable to finish off at gear lever end, then starter cables, diesel loom to panel, prime (fuel and water), flash it up. Next slipping I will use C3000 or whatever Altex have better at the time.

Interesting re fertiliser - assume that is due to all the rains?
