Thanks for posting Gary. My next biggish job on the spray is replace the bowsprit. As much as I enjoy working wood I'm glad I can purchase the steel box section at any steel merchant

Like for like will be the easiest & 75mm gal box isn't very expensive. Only change I will make is chain plates will be stainless same as I did for main & mizzen, no more rust from shackle bolt holes.
